Shot these photos of Brain Adam's Evo for Iron Horse a while back. Brian owns Subculture Cycles here in Phoenix.

I stopped by Industrial Chassis yesterday to see what Steve and the boys had going on. Kelly's T is looking pretty awesome with chrome, and polished goodies all over the place.
Milled chromed axle, drilled chromed wishbones, chromed '40 backing plates, polished buick drums, and a Pontiac thats going to be topped with fins, and a 4-71
I also took the intake for my Riviera down there and bead blasted it. Hopefully get carb kits soon so I can bolt this baby on.

Legendary...

It's like a little slice of heaven. Imagine cruising down the highway in a pristine, Barris painted '63 Riviera with the Barnstormer dragster in your rearview. Tommy Ivo is the man.

Worst Kid Ever

This post is for my mom. Today is her birthday, and I have been so caught up with trying to travel and get new things to shoot that I totally spaced it. It's not that I didn't know her birth date, it's that I didn't realize today was that day. I feel like a total ass, and rightly so. In addition to giving me life she has helped me, and been there for me from that day on. She probably reads this blog more than anyone else out there. So if you are reading this mom, I'm sorry, I'm still working on this being an adult/good kid thing. I love you mom, happy birthday.

Going, going, back, back...

Scotty Rockland and I made a little trip west this weekend for some relief from the heat... Got to spend Saturday with Matt and Justina cruising around Burbank and Hollywood and drinking Ray's Mistake out of a coconut. They lest rest our little heads at thier place for a bit, then down to th Long Beach swap at the crack of 4:30am. From there we headed over to Fallbrook to see some awesome machines at Dode Martin's BBQ. The place was packed with all top shelf hot rods and customs. More pictures to come...

Matt an Scott with one of the sweetest vans in existance today! Paint by Roaddog Customs, side pipes and Cragars by Awesome!
Dean hot footin' it in Hollywood
Went to the Long Beach cycle swap, Slim and his brother Wes were there with this crazy chopped Chevy van and reppin hard in the DicE tees. Slim builds some super wild shit, including some real bitchin bars and parts and dirt cheap prices.

Dreams do come true

The Craigslist gods smiled upon me this week. I've been looking for a set of 30 spoke Cragar, or True-Spoke wires for several months, and running into the same problems we all encounter when looking for that "perfect" part(s). When I would find them they would either be too wide, or too small in diameter, or the wrong lug pattern, or the most common problem, too spendy. I found the listing for these bad boys at 11:30 the night before I left for OR. My very helpful and understanding girlfriend was nice enough to email the guy about availability, and when told they were still up for grabs relayed my number to the guy.

I called the guy on Thursday and told him I could send a buddy out to check em out, and to my surprise he offered to hold the wheels until I returned to PHX this week.
Just goes to show that even when times are tough there are some real stand-up folks out there.
I had an obsessed photo shoot last night after bringing them home. Damn they're pretty...

Check out issue #27 of Dice Magazine to see Joel Pippett's dynomite Triumph. Not to mention the rest of the bitchin bikes and crazy content Matt and Dean serve up every issue.

Back from the N.W. with the folks

Landed in Portland on Thursday and headed for one of the many Mcminnamin's restuarants for a garden burger and a couple of tasty micro brewed IPA's.... yum

Nice shot from Tygh Valley, OR. That's thr tip of Mt. Hood in the distance
80 degree days, rafting on the Deschutes river, ice cold Ranier beer, and grilling every night
Kinda goes without saying doesn't it?

Took the pups swimming first thing a.m.
Then down to Premiere Auto Body for the annual 4th of July BBQ hosted by The Rattlers C.C.
There's always a great selection of steel to admire...
Then it was time to swim again, four pools in one day= totally awesome. Snapped this one after pool #3. Who says there's no beauty in the desert?

Back on Topic...

Time to get back to the cars and bikes. I have tons of files full of photos of hot rods, kustoms, choppers and bobbers that I will be sorting through and posting up here. In the meantime I'm learning to watermark my photos, so bear with me. Hope you like em.
